If you desire a wedding location with modern elegance but the authenticity of a historic legacy, Historic London Town & Gardens is the ideal choice. Set on a picturesque bluff overlooking the South River just minutes from Annapolis and The Naval Academy, Historic London Town and Gardens is the premier waterfront venue for your Maryland wedding. Picture yourself walking down the aisle while the sun glints off the South River while your guests watch from crisply painted white chairs on a perfectly manicured lawn. You will exchange vows on a raised platform in front of the river with the entire wedding party surrounding you. Host your cocktail hour on the pastoral grounds beneath an ancient tree that can be hung with paper lanterns to create a festive atmosphere. Meanwhile the happy couple can take some time to pose for gorgeous photos on the dock, throughout our ten acres of gardens, or in our historic areas. We offer year round rental options. The Glass Pavilion, covered decks, and 40x40 white organdy draped tent (from April to November) offer vistas of the South River, with tables and chairs for seating up to 160 for dinner and dancing. Additional tenting can be added to host larger scale receptions and events. In winter months, the Glass Pavilion alone can host 85 seated with up to 125 for standing cocktail receptions. Arrive and depart by boat at our 185 ft pier. Ample on site parking for 90 cars with shuttle service to and from local hotels easily arranged for the convenience of your out of town guests. A one hour rehearsal time is included. Caterers on our approved list offer menus, styles and price points to accommodate all tastes. Come take a step back in time as you walk towards forever.

Time Restrictions

Set up time allowed is 3 hours prior to the start of the event. Breakdown allowed is one hour after event ends. Events must end by 10:00PM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $2,800 to $6,500 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Ceremony only is not offered at our location. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $750/hr. A refundable security deposit of $750 is required. Tent for outdoor receptions is unavailable in the off-peak season (December-March).
