University of Maryland’s Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is more than a building to host your wedding, it is a story that continues to be written. With a paved, brick aisle and reflecting pool, your outdoor ceremony will be peaceful and inviting and will create a lovely, intimate ambience. Your guests can then enjoy a gorgeous cocktail hour in the foyer space with floor to ceiling windows and crisp, elegant décor while you and your spouse take your wedding photos on the beautiful grounds of campus. For the reception, the space’s high ceilings and unique lighting options will add to the elegance of the entire celebration. Set up time can start 2 hours prior to start of event. Events must end by midnight. Closed on University of Maryland Holidays.
The rental fee ranges from $4500 to $8,500 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $750. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $300/hr. Catering is not included in rental fee.
