Imagine yourself being swept away in a horse-drawn carriage as you enter the historic grounds of SNOW HILL MANOR. Passing through 17 acres of beautiful, leafy parkland along a cedar, tree-lined driveway you arrive at the historic house. Built by the Snowden family, who were one of Maryland’s early colonial, Quaker families and iron suppliers, this house was built along the main road between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. This beautiful Georgian home is rumored to have been host to President George Washington and his wife, Martha. With plenty of charm, character, and style, SNOW HILL MANOR can add that special flair to any event. Modern amenities include a warming kitchen, wireless connection, audio-visual equipment, and dressing rooms. The enchantment of the outdoors is enhanced further with a large tented patio for seasonal use. Professional staff are always on hand to make your event a success. We give attention to detail and a willingness to accommodate your special requests.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $400 to $750 for a reception depending on whether the bride and groom are residents of Prince George’s or Montgomery Counties and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. For residents, the fee ranges from $400 to $650. For nonresidents, a wedding in the Mansion ranges from $450 to $750. The fee to rent the Lawn or House for a wedding ceremony is ranges from $300 to $600 depending on the hours of event time. with reception rental or $2,500 for ceremony only. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,000/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
