Make sure you consider sales tax when deciding on your wedding budget. Georgia sales tax is 4%, but increases depending on the municipality. This brings Atlanta to 8%, Savannah to 7%, and other cities in the state will vary, but none have sales tax higher than 8%. Also remember to add between 15% and 20% for gratuities and 9% to 20% for service fees.
