5 Facts About Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Wedding Venue
Pop superstar Justin Bieber and model/actress Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Rhode Bieber) are giving fans an inside look at their extravagant wedding ceremony and reception in Bieber’s new YouTube series, Justin Bieber: Seasons, which features exclusive footage and interviews from the couple’s big day.
The festivities were breathtaking (surprise!), but like most weddings, the venue played a huge role in making the day as beautiful as it was.
Where did Justin Bieber get married?
Bieber and Baldwin officially tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in September 2018, but they celebrated their one-year anniversary with a wedding ceremony at Montage Palmetto Bluff — a luxury resort in Bluffton, South Carolina. Here are five facts you need to know about the venue:
Montage Palmetto Bluff is located along South Carolina’s May River between Hilton Head Island and Savannah, Georgia.
The venue features a 20,000 acre community, as well as a nature preserve, walking trails, two villages, a marina, restaurants, and a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
The venue features multiple indoor and outdoor locations for ceremonies and receptions, including the grand Somerset Chapel, where Bieber and Baldwin said their “I do’s,” and the Wilson Ballroom, where everyone gathered for the post-ceremony festivities, according to People. The chapel can seat up to 185 people and is set along the interior waterway of the property, while the 7,000-square foot ballroom looks out onto the lawn and can hold up to 350 people.
The venue features over 200 guest accommodations which “pay homage to the region’s rich heritage. Designed in classic Colonial style, accommodations include spacious cottages, guest rooms, suites and residences all with luxury amenities, spacious bathrooms including separate shower and soaking tub, and up-to-date technology. Genuine pine floors, high vaulted ceilings, cozy fireplaces, and spacious screened porches can be found in many of the accommodations.”
The venue’s website has a #MarriedAtMontage section, which showcases photos and stories from real weddings they’ve hosted.
Who went to Bieber and Baldwin’s wedding?
In addition to close friends, family and management, dozens of A-Listers made their way to South Carolina for the festivities, including Usher, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Jaden Smith, and more. People reported that 154 people were in attendance for the ceremony.
Who was their wedding planner?
World-renowned event planner Mindy Weiss (who was just featured on Wedding Spot’s list of 25 must-follow wedding experts!) worked with Bieber and Baldwin on their big day.
“They’re both delish, and I was just so happy with it,” Weiss told People. “Both of them were very present, very representative of their taste, what they wanted, the feeling, and where it was at. It was a great experience and it went so well.”
