Description

For almost 150 years the Maple Street Chapel has been the wedding venue of choice for countless brides and grooms in Lombard, Illinois. Dedicated on May 29, 1870, the historic chapel is an impressive landmark treasured by the local community and surrounding region. Couples of all faiths are welcome to exchange their vows in this traditional setting while their friends and family watch and witness the celebration of their love and commitment to each other. Music from the stately organ or grand piano adds a classic touch to the ceremony, and upon sharing their first kiss as a married couple the newlyweds can announce it to the world by ringing the church bell together. The Maple Street Chapel was built in the American Gothic style and has a bat-and-board design with spectacular stained-glass “grisaille” windows. Its simple elegance and historical significance make it the perfect place for a beautiful, traditional wedding.
