At the Museum of Life and Science, they strive to bring wonder-filled moments to each visitor of the Museum. It is their pleasure to do the same for each attendee of your special wedding event. The main building exhibit space offers a number of creative settings to give you and your guests an exceptional experience. They can accommodate a variety of group sizes depending on the details of your event. Magic Wings Butterfly House is a "total immersion" butterfly exhibit where your guests will walk through a rainforest surrounded by hundreds of tropical butterflies. One of the Museum's most popular attractions and among the largest butterfly conservatories in the Southeast, Magic Wings offers your guests a spectacular setting for ceremonies and small receptions. The special events tent is 30 by 50 feet, covering a red brick surface and set next to a beautifully landscaped lawn and lush garden. Featuring warm market-style lights, this area is perfect for those who want to dance the night away and celebrate with loved ones. Time Restrictions

Set up time can start at 5:30PM. Events must end by 1:00AM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee is $2,800 for a ceremony and/or reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $350/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. Please inquire with venue for indoor reception options.
