Situated in one of the “7 Wonders of Illinois,” Starved Rock State Park is located near Utica, Illinois and offers an unforgettable way to celebrate your union. The Starved Rock Lodge and Cabins were built from 1933 to 1939 and are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Once your family and friends arrive, there is no need for them to leave the Park during your wedding weekend! For an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the beauty of nature, say your vows in the awe-inspiring Sunrise Shelter overlooking the park. Or choose the Canyonside Courtyard, nestled amongst pine trees and featuring a paved walkway, natural stone benches and antique lighting. In colder months an indoor ceremony is cozy in the Canyonside Cabin, full of woodsy charm. Later, a beautiful reception commences in the Great Hall of the Starved Rock Lodge.
