Anderson Mansion Museum Overview
The Anderson Mansion Museum is a historic property located in Carlinville, Illinois that showcases the enchanting architecture of the era in which it was built. Once the lavish home of John C. Anderson, the house's first floor was built in 1883, while its second floor was added in 1892. The house is now owned by the Macoupin County Historical Society, which uses it for the Anderson Mansion Museum and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Outer buildings include an authentic schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, and a print shop on the grounds that are available for your wedding celebration.The on-site pavilion and expansive grounds that showcase the mystical museum are a perfect setting for a beautiful and historical wedding.
