Barker Tavern Overview
Overlooking Scituate Harbor and centrally located between Boston and Cape Cod, the Barker Tavern is an intimate setting for your unique and memorable wedding day. One of the most noteworthy 17th-century homes in America, the Williams-Barker house is said to be the second oldest standing house in the United States, and was used as a garrison in 1676. Your beautiful vows are said before the eight-foot colonial stone fireplace in the Williams Room. The cathedral ceilings and expansive views of the Scituate Marina and Harbor create a memorable place to say “I do”. After your nuptials, guests will make their way to the New England room, featuring wooden beams and rustic lighting, full of historic charm for cocktail hour. Later you will enjoy an impeccable dinner and dancing long into the night in the Williams Room, with the moon sparkling on the water of the harbor. There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $500 and includes an extra half hour of event time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $600/hr.Amenities And Requirements
