Ellis House and Equestrian Center provides event space for beautiful weddings and receptions. Ellis House can accommodate up to 200 guests, which includes use of both the Ellis House and Event Tent May through October, and up to 40 guests for those events taking place in the Ellis House. The Ellis House and Equestrian Center was formerly the estate of Steve and Cindy Ellis. The Kendall County Forest Preserve District purchased the 45 acres, complete with a 5-room estate house, outbuildings, and an 8-stall barn with a tack room and wash stall attached to an indoor riding arena. A 100 ft x 200 ft outdoor riding arena is just south of the indoor arena, with 6 acres of fenced in pasture. The setting is an ideal location for you to host your wedding event, whether large or small.
