Opened to the public as a historic house museum in 1988, Darnall’s Chance House Museum is dedicated to the interpretation and study of the history and culture of 18th century Prince George's County, Maryland; the museum's specialty is on the lives of mid-18th century women. Embedded with history, the beautiful museum features a brick exterior with vibrant red window frames, doors, and roof. For private events, Darnall’s Chance House Museum offers a lighted patio tent that provides a stunning setting for elegant weddings. With the picturesque museum in the background, the tent calls for a celebration with a dance floor, a live band, and more! Unique photos are a given considering the sheer beauty of the museum itself as well as its grounds!
