For the quintessential New England wedding, the Deerfield Inn offers a seamless blend of elegance and rustic charm. The Terrace, our primary event space, accommodates up to 70 guests and serves as the perfect setting for dinner and drinks. Filled with natural light from its south-facing windows and French doors, the space opens onto our patio, creating an effortless flow between indoor and outdoor celebrations. With its own bar and cozy fireplace, the Terrace provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for your reception. Ceremonies may take place on the patio or South Lawn, offering a beautiful outdoor backdrop. Guests can then enjoy a relaxed cocktail hour both indoors and out before transitioning into dinner in the Terrace. As the evening continues, the celebration moves outdoors, where the patio transforms into a lively space for dancing under a tented setting. For more intimate gatherings, the patio can also accommodate seated dinners for up to 50 guests. This flexible layout allows each couple to create a celebration that feels both personal and effortless. Have a smaller reception in mind? With seating for up to 50 guests, the restaurant is bright and elegant with period wallpaper, a fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, and four large sunny embrasures. The dining room offers a formal dining experience with the comfort you’d expect from a historic inn. For intimate gatherings of 20 people or less, our quaint beehive room is just the thing. With parlor seating ideal for cocktail-style receptions and the option of setting up a private dining table, the room is truly special and flexible space. We welcome all couples of all races, religions, and genders to marry here.

Venue Notes

Event fees at the Deerfield Inn vary by space, including the Terrace, patio, and South Lawn for ceremonies and receptions. Weddings typically include 5–6 hours of event time. All events include tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, professional service staff, and full setup and breakdown. Food and beverage options are customizable, with plated and buffet-style dining available. Bar service is optional and tailored to each event. A 21% gratuity and 6% administrative fee apply.
