Located in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill district, Fred Wildlife Refuge is a unique and versatile event space. Built in the 1960s as a photo studio, this impressive venue has recently been updated and equipped with modern amenities. Fred boasts 25 feet high ceilings and state of the art video projection and sound systems, as well as plenty of parking, heating, and air conditioning. It has two gorgeous studio spaces: one can accommodate up to 199 people and the other has space for up to 99 individuals. Both have customizable ambient lighting and fully staffed photo booths complete with props and print capabilities. Your guests will have the time of their life with your fabulous wedding reception in this one-of-a-kind space. Set up time can start 1 hour prior to event start time. Events must end by 2:00AM.
The rental fee ranges from $1,000 to $1,600 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. Please inquire directly with the venue regarding hosting a ceremony only wedding and additional balcony space. There is a $2,500 beverage minimum as well as 20% gratuity fee added to hosted bar.
