When you host your wedding day at the The University Area Community Complex, you will be helping to further the mission of the University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC). The UACDC works to improve the economic, educational, and social levels, especially for those who are living below the poverty level in Tampa, Florida. From intimate to extravagant, the University Area Community Center has all the features to make your wedding celebration unforgettable! Exchange vows in the Community Room. The fan-shaped room offers a whimsical setting, ideal for a heartfelt ceremony indoors. With two doors leading to the lighted patio deck. The lighted patio deck is the perfect location for a fantastic outdoor reception and is a wonderful complement to the Community Room—which can also be used for Cocktail hour. The expansive Acoustic Auditorium can be transformed into a stunning site for a grand banquet-style reception. The stage is a wonderful setting for a live band or DJ and is outfitted with top sound and lighting equipment. The friendly event staff and maintenance personnel take extra care to see to the success of your special day, so that it is nothing short of a dream come true.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $100 to $250 for a reception and ceremony and includes 1 hour of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rental fee for a ceremony is $250. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. A set up fee ranging from $50 to $200 also may apply depending on rental space.Amenities And Requirements
