Sandler Center for the Performing Arts Overview

Nestled in Virginia Beach, the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts offers a versatile wedding venue brimming with elegant spaces. Envision you and your beloved saying your “I do’s” on the stage of the expansive Performance Hall, complete with sky high ceilings, comfortable auditorium seating for guests, and an acoustic-friendly design that is perfect for saying your vows. Many couples enjoy holding their ceremony in the Outdoor Plaza, a beautiful open-air patio space featuring gorgeous views of the Performing Arts Center’s stunning glass walls, as well as nearby attractions like the Westin, Studio 56, and McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant. Perfect for an intimate reception or cocktail hour, the Wood Founders Room is an elegant space with gorgeous city views, warm wood interiors, and private terrace access overlooking the Town Center. For a more traditional banquet-style affair, look to the Sandler Center’s rehearsal hall, a stunning studio theatre with floor-to-ceiling windows and designer lighting. Weddings and Receptions are not able to be booked more than 6 months in advance.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $750 to $2,100 for a reception and includes 8 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The rental fee for a ceremony ranges from $750 to $2,750. Additional hours can be arranged, please inquire with the venue for more details.
