Greystone Hall is a Tudor-Jacobean mansion at the center of a private country estate. Like the Vanderbilt’s Biltmore mansion in North Carolina, the DuPont mansions in and around Wilmington and the mansions at Newport, Greystone Hall stands today as a living monument of the era of great American buildings of the Gilded Age. A picture of the site or a virtual tour cannot convey the lifetime of memories Greystone you will create for you, your family and your friends. Your ceremony will take place on the fountain terrace in front of the wrought iron arbor overlooking the fifty-six-column pergola in the distance. Dazzled as they arrive, your guests will gaze up to see you standing above; a vision aglow. And your life together begins... The stately architecture and formal grounds have made Greystone Hall a popular setting for the east coast's truly regal wedding ceremonies. During your reception, guests are free to explore the first floor and enjoy the architecture, woodwork, antiques, and oriental carpets of the mansion’s formal rooms. The rest of the evening can unfold dancing in the Tent-Pavilion, overlooking the terraced landscape gardens and the south lawn. As dusk falls, spotlights dramatically light up the garden fountains, statues, and the white columned pergola, fostering your romantic evening as your reception slips into a dream you remember forever.

Flexible set-up/start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by midnight.

Rental Fees

The five hour Saturday rental fee ranges from $6,750 to $8,500 for reception including your set-up and clean up time. If the ceremony is on site fee, there is an additional $250 ceremony set-up fee. An initial deposit of $2,000 (deducted from total rental fees) is required. Payments are then divided into three equal installments. There is a $500 refundable security deposit and insurance requirement. There is a choice of four caterers. Catering, food service and alcohol are not included in the site rental. Bar service and the complete set-up is included in your catering package however you will supply your own alcohol. (Alcohol generally averages $12-$15 per person).

The average wedding cost at Greystone Hall is estimated at between $19,220 and $27,562 for a ceremony & reception for 100 guests.
