Have the most important party of your life inside the preserved and historic Day Block Event Center along the Riverfront District in downtown Minneapolis. With capacities from 25 to 250, The Day Block building is the perfect setting for your intimate wedding ceremony, reception, or both! Contact us for a personal tour. The Day Block Event Center is just a short walk from Minneapolis landmarks like Gold Medal Park, The Guthrie Theatre, and the Stone Arch Bridge. There is both historic and new architecture along the Mississippi River which make exceptional sites for your wedding portraits. Inside the building, high ceilings, exposed brick, and wood floors make decorating easy and elegant. Amenities include a 50ft balcony overlooking the downtown Minneapolis skyline, high ceilings, wood floors, beautiful windows, exposed brick walls, rooftop access for photography, free WiFi, elevator access to the second floor Event Center, and more!Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $1,000 to $5,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 8 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony only wedding ranges from $1,250 to $4,500. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $125/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
