Time Restrictions

Officially, our day packages are from noon until midnight. However, if there is not another event the night before, you can arrive as early as you would like. Our staff will arrive by 10am to set up chairs, tables, hang lanterns in the trees, keep the house clean while you get ready, etc.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $2950 to $4950 plus 6% tax for the ceremony, cocktail and reception areas for a minimum of 12 hours (from noon until midnight). Overnight lodging is available at additional fees. The house sleeps 8 - 10 people. Unlike most other venues, Hacienda del Lago doesn’t start out with a very low, misleading price and then tack on a ton of extra charges. Our packages include: • Full-day rentals. Officially it is from noon until midnight, but if there is not an event the evening before, you are welcome to arrive as early as you would like that day. • Staff of 3-4 people ALL day to set up chairs, tables, put decoration in trees, manage parking, keep the bathrooms clean, keep the fire pit going, etc. • Tables & Chairs for the ceremony, cocktail and reception areas for 150 guests (however, we can accommodate up to 200). • Full use of the 2,500 sq. ft. completely-remodeled house (in 2005), including a large, beautiful bridal suite, groom suite, 3rd bedroom, beatifically remodeled bathrooms, formal living/dining room and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, a SubZero refrigerator and Viking stove, etc. • About the only item we don't provide are linens. That's simply because most couples want different colors and styles. We do, however, have basic ivory-colored linens that we provide for a small fee (just to cover the cleaning fees). • We also DO NOT restrict you to a certain set of caterers, so you are free to select your own or from our large selection of recommended caterers. We do, though, require that they keep at least some staff there for the entire evening to bus tables and to remove and haul all trash from the property at the end of the event. Since we are high atop a hill, commercial trash service is not available. • Finally, we allow you to bring in your own drinks/alcohol instead of requiring you to use an in-house bar service. This may seem trivial, but many venues make as much money from their bar (since they charge by the drink) as they do renting out the venue! Our only requirement is that the alcohol be served by a licensed and insured bartender. The rule of thumb is one bartender for every 75 people. By bringing in your own alcohol, you don't end up with a huge unexpected expense at the end. Our philosophy is to be 100% transparent so that you can accurately budget and not have to worry about extra fees. That is also why we have a staff of 3-4 people here the entire day (starting at about 10am and not leaving until the event is over and break-down is complete. Your job is to ENJOY this special day in your life. We'll make sure you don't have to worry about the details. r.
