Make history together when you celebrate your wedding day at The Washington County History Center. Make your guests say "WOW," as they step into the truly unique 1889 Circuit Courtroom at the Old Courthouse Museum. Recite your vows showered in the natural light streaming in from the large original art glass windows. The gleaming oak and maple woodwork, and 24-foot high hand-painted coffered ceilings will wrap you and your guests in impressive beauty and historic grandeur. After the ceremony, flip the room from ceremony site to reception. Depending on table, chair, catering, and bar arrangement, the 1889 Circuit Courtroom can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated reception or up to 150 people for a cocktail reception. Rental fee includes the use of a kitchenette and a room for staging. The Old Courthouse Museum has an elevator, and plenty of free lot and street parking.
