Byrne-Reed House

Centrally located in downtown Austin, the historic Byrne-Reed House is an elegant new venue available for your special day. The recently restored house and grounds have the beauty and character you expect of an Austin Historic Landmark with all the accommodations of a modern event space. Built more than a century ago, the Byrne-Reed House reflects a Texas vernacular style that combined popular architectural trends of the period. A true hidden gem that has been kept a secret for years, the Byrne-Reed House was rediscovered and restored to its former glory. The gracious first floor includes a dining room, gallery, and a living room with a spacious wraparound porch, while the second floor has a bright and comfortable library. Creamy walls adorned with arches and delicate gold accents, stunning tile work on the porches, original windows, and an elegant staircase are just a few of the mansion’s breathtaking features. Inspire your guests to breathe in the historical beauty of the Byrne-Reed House by hosting your wedding within its walls!
