For almost a century, Tabard Inn has offered an eclectic yet refined atmosphere for anyone seeking a European-style oasis on American soil. The historic property provides a timeless setting for a truly unique Washington DC wedding. Imagine your wedding ceremony in the garden patio, then cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and dancing in the 19th century period townhome that sets the tone for exceptional wedding celebrations in a private home setting. The garden patio, covered in lush ivy and accented by bright flowers, brings out the Inn’s whimsical charm. Occupying the second floor of the Inn, the private event space is composed of two distinct private dining rooms which can be combined into one large room, customized in a variety of ways to accommodate all your close friends and family. Original decorative wood and marble fireplaces, oak floors, period furnishings, and walls adorned with a romantic flavor create an ambiance of elegance and charm for that special moment.
