Givhans Ferry State Park is a nature-filled state park that is perfect for your wedding celebration. A natural retreat in the Lowcountry woods, this public park sits at the end of the 21-mile long stretch of river kayaking paradise known as the Edisto River Kayak and Canoe Trail. Your guests will love exploring The Edisto leading up to your big day. It is the longest free-flowing, blackwater river in North America, and glimpses of it can be seen from the bluffs outside the rustic, Givhans Ferry State Park cabins, as well as from the back porch of Riverfront Hall, a reception facility. The beautiful white facility includes a kitchen and other amenities to make your wedding a success. Wood floors and planked walls create a rustic and cozy atmosphere for your celebration. A shaded campground, nature trail and picnic shelters are also available at the park for your guests’ enjoyment. Gather your loved ones at the gorgeous Givhans Ferry State Park for a relaxed, casual and memorable wedding celebration.
