Description

Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation owns and operates The Post, located 2.5 miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806. The Post is an indoor venue with private outdoor courtyard. The Post has a historic atmosphere, being the former Great Plains Museum, and comes complete with its very own pioneertown. Enjoy the beautiful backyard with picnic tables in a fenced courtyard flanked by historical buildings for your wedding celebration. Hold your ceremony and host the agenda of your reception on the indoor stage with professional lighting for a true quality proceeding. This unique vintage building also makes for a lovely backdrop to an outdoor wedding. The stone steps lined with wildflowers leads up to a wooden porch.
