Located in the heart of Portland's downtown Park Blocks, The Portland Art Museum will enhance your wedding with artistic elements and signature architectural details that only this cultural landmark can provide. We offer multiple elegant event spaces, allowing you to draw on the distinct characteristics of each to complement the various stages of your special day. The 9,000 square-foot Kridel Grand Ballroom is the jewel of the Mark Building. Highlights include forty-foot ceilings and a full-size stage. With a seated banquet capacity of 560 guests, and an included dance floor of 20' x 24', the Kridel Ballroom can accommodate even the largest of wedding receptions. The sophisticated 4,500 square-foot Fields Sunken Ballroom features a grand stairway, Doric columns, statuary and reliefs from the Parthenon. Accommodating seated banquets of up to 220 guests with an included dance floor of 16' x 20', the Fields Ballroom is our most popular event space for moderate-sized receptions, or for gorgeous indoor ceremonies (ceremony/reception combos in this space are not recommended for groups larger than 100 guests). The Portland Art Museum has even more event spaces, including the outdoor Evan H. Roberts Sculpture Mall, that can be added to the reception or ceremony venue to create a comprehensive wedding package.
