Plains Art Museum Overview
Since its grand opening in 1997, the Plains Art Museum has hosted over 300 wedding receptions in their beautiful and historic facility. From elegant cocktail parties for 450 guests to intimate family gatherings of 50, the Plains Art Museum can accommodate the unique aspects of your perfect reception. Your guests will enjoy a memorable evening with friends and family surrounded by the charming characteristics and artistic aspects of the celebrated facility. The open multiple floor venue is enormous, with its large amounts of natural light, aged hardwood floors, and exposed brick walls, this space will compliment any type of photography. The spacious room will be able to house everything you wish, from a photo booth to a large dance floor. The Plains Art Museum offers full-service catering for any event through their preferred catering companies, with each company chosen specifically for their professional and quality services.Venue Notes
All clients must be a member of the museum to host a wedding. An annual membership fee is $100. Please inquire with the museum regarding other membership benefits, discounts, classes, and museum/event access. The rental fee is $3,000 for a reception and includes 7 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony only wedding is $600. A 10% service fee is added onto the total food sales, excluded from the rental fee. A food minimum of $3,000 in sales is required and a bar minimum of $1,000 is also required. There is an additional 9.5% alcohol tax fee charged by the museum.Amenities And Requirements
