For a truly rustic wedding, book your event at the Izaak Walton Inn. Originally constructed in 1939 as the entrance to Glacier National Park, the Inn is maintained to reflect the era in which it was built. Meaning, when you book a stay or event at the Izaak Walton Inn, you are transported back to when many of our modern day conveniences were not available. Electrical services, such as telephones, televisions, elevators, and air conditioning, are not available at the Inn. Likewise, cell phone reception is not available within a 30 mile radius of the property. However, what the Inn lacks in modern day conveniences, it makes up with stunning scenery and unique offerings. The property is abound with majestic views of the surrounding mountains and one million acre wilderness. Plan your wedding during any season and enjoy the lush greenery of the spring or summer, the gorgeous warm hues of the fall, or experience a true wonderland in the winter. Your ceremony will be one to remember whether you exchange vows outside among the Montana wilderness or inside the cozy and warm lodge. In addition to one-of-a-kind ceremony possibilities, your guests will always remember your wedding at the Inn due to the unique lodging accommodations. The bridal party and guests have the option of staying in the lodge, a cabin, the Withrow house, or one of four train cabooses!

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $100 to $950 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is $100 with reception rental. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. A refundable security deposit of $250 is required.
