As an important piece of Providence history, the Providence G once occupied the former space of the Providence Gas Company built in 1920. The renovation process was geared toward maintaining many of the building’s original architectural detail. The ballroom is decorated with the original marble floors, beautifully hung crystal chandeliers and white walls and ceilings with intricate Greek key moldings to compliment your elegant, ravishing wedding. Any color, texture, style or preference is easily accommodated in the Event Space at Providence G. Light the space with only soft, romantic colored lighting, candles, and the stunning crystal chandeliers. The ambience cannot be beat and you and your spouse will bask in each other’s love as you enjoy a cocktail at your table surrounded by your loved ones and the fragrance of fresh flowers.

The rental fee ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 for a reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,000/hr.
