Ah, NOOR! This dramatic event venue in the historic heart of Old Pasadena seems to have the power to elevate any occasion and surround it in magic. Voted “Best Of” by the readers of Pasadena Weekly nine years in a row (2011-2020), this function-dedicated property features a collection of elegant spaces designed specifically with transcendent celebrations in mind. Indoors, you’ll find two stunning ballrooms with fabulous foyers. Outdoors, there’s a room-sized second-story balcony overlooking views of City Hall and the San Gabriel Mountains, plus a spectacular terrace spacious enough for a grand open-air gala.

 

Heads will turn and eyes will widen when guests step into the Sofia Ballroom’s lavish 1920s-inspired foyer. The long, burnished wood bar, high ceilings, and magnificent chandeliers will transport them to a world of glamour and gaiety. From here, your party can flow to the Sofia Ballroom, with its Art Nouveau styling, state-of-the-art audio/visual and lighting system and city and mountain views or onto the Sofia Balcony, a sophisticated al fresco lounge where you can practically reach out and touch the city skyline.

 

The Ella Foyer and Ballroom have their own fashionable entrance. Big black double doors welcome you from the patio out front into what feels like a very chic Hollywood club. Art Deco-imbued touches—the shiny black bar, Venetian plaster walls sculpted to look like tufted dove-gray leather, the wraparound black leather banquette, and the ethereal “ghost” chandeliers—enhance the luxurious vibe. It’s a striking introduction to the Ella Ballroom. Not quite as vast as the Sofia, this room’s more intimate “members only” atmosphere conjures up an era of opulence and prestige. You have a lot of options here, and the staff, who are experts in hospitality, will help you select the spaces, menu and services that best suit your vision.

• Pricing in all our wedding packages already includes ballroom rental fee, service fee and sales tax along with banquet furniture, tableware, banquet staff and linen.
• Wedding reception packages starts at $120 per guest (including service fee and sales tax) and include 5 event hours.
• Indoor wedding ceremony prices range from $2,150 to $3,150 for an indoor ceremony.
• Outdoor wedding ceremony is priced at $3,850 plus $6.50 for each chair rental.
• Additional event hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,950/hour.
• Liability Insurance from both Client and their Vendors is required.
• NOOR has both a full liquor license and cabaret license with no noise restrictions or curfew. Price estimates provided by Wedding Spot for the reception include food, beverage, room rental, tableware, glassware, silverware, linen, banquet staff, gratuity, and taxes.
