The Dixie Theatre is a charmed venue located in Apalachicola, Florida. The Dixie was opened in 1913 and has housed both theater productions and motion pictures over the years. This historic site infuses your wedding with an air of sweet nostalgia. The Theatre can host both your wedding ceremony as well as a reception. The interior features a stage, mezzanine and balcony. Tables in the orchestra area are lovely for an evening of dining and dancing in style. The stage makes for an elegant ceremony and is perfect for those seeking live entertainment for their reception. The rental fee is $2,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony only wedding is $1,200.
