Providence Academy Overview
Situated just across from St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Providence Academy provides soon-to-be-wed couples with a unique historic venue that has become iconic in the area for representing the generosity of Mother Joseph. The Academy was originally opened in the late 19th century as an administrative home for the Sisters of Providence, a devoted group known for running 29 hospitals and schools in total. The building was later added to the National Register of Historic Places and purchased by the Fort Vancouver Land Trust for preservation. Providence Academy is widely renowned as Mother Joseph’s most outstanding architectural achievement. This rich history and aesthetic beauty makes it a one-of-a-kind backdrop for your big day! Couples can exchange their most sacred vows within the gorgeous chapel, a luminous white space complete with gleaming hardwood floors, sky high arched ceilings, pointed arch windows, and ornate decorative detailing that will not go unnoticed by naked eyes or cameras alike!Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $400 to $600 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony ranges from $400 to $750. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee, please inquire with venue for specific details. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. Please note, rental fees for the chapel only includes 3 hours only. Refundable damage deposit may be reduced for events without alcohol being served or for ceremony-only events.Amenities And Requirements
