Overlook at the Point Overview
Ideal for a wedding weekend getaway on the gorgeous Maine coast! Built by an admiral in 1894, Overlook stands tall as one of the first houses to be built on the point. Once an all-girls wilderness camp, the building has been converted to accommodate brides and grooms to celebrate their special day. Guests will adore being right next to the Maine coast, which consists of a constant calming breeze and the smell of sweet saltwater. Overlook at the Point slumbers quietly along the rocky shoreline with views of the ocean and stars. Exchange vows outdoors under the blue Maine sky - the natural beauty of the Maine shore parallels the beauty of your long-lasting love. Afterwards, lead guests indoors to your elegant and intimate reception. With carefully chosen flowers to match the table settings and rustic, beach wedding favors, the beachy atmosphere is brought in. The rental fee starts at $4,500 and includes the venue plus a 3 night minimum (Thursday to Sunday rental). Pleas inquire with the venue regarding their 7 night rental package (Sunday to Sunday). The estate sleeps up to 8 guests with additional 4 guests on the pull out couches in the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Three bedrooms have full beds with one queen bed in the master.
