The Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries will take your wedding back to a simpler time of pure serenity and elegance! Originally constructed in the early 20th century in honor of St. Louis’ Ethical Society founder and designed by the World’s Fair architect Louis C. Spiering, this beautiful building has hosted a multitude of revolutionary speakers through the ages. Today, the building hosts numerous events, including weddings! Experience the sophistication of a bygone era in this picturesque escape nestled right in the Gateway City’s Midtown entertainment district! Exchange your vows on stage in the Sheldon Concert Hall, a space that features perfect acoustics and original curved wood theatre seating. Celebrate your union in the ballroom, a traditionally elegant space featuring hardwood flooring, beamed ceilings, expansive skylights, and windows overlooking the city’s Central West End. If you’re looking for a more contemporary space, host a standing cocktail reception in the Atrium Lobby or Art Galleries. The lobby even overlooks the beautiful Sculpture Garden!

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,800 to $3,000 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $2,500. Packages are available to host your ceremony and reception at The Sheldon beginning at $3,300. Additional hours can be arranged, please inquire with venue as it is based on room type. Please inquire with venue for Host Bar details.
