San Francisco Film Centre

San Francisco

Built in 1938 for enlisted men and officers, the 67,000 square-foot building is now home to the San Francisco Film Centre. Originally created to serve the local film industry, now with polished wood-floors and imperial columns, the space provides an extravagant atmosphere. Located on the ground floor of the building, The Palm Room is a sophisticated event destination. The grandiose room holds an impeccable view of the historic Presidio neighborhood and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Outside, French doors lead to an adjacent, tile-decorated veranda displaying archways and beautiful, live potted palms. With an abundance of detail starting with the Australian eucalyptus wood flooring, the space also features state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting and a screening room.
