The Clayton Center Overview
Located just half an hour from Raleigh, the Clayton Center’s historic ambience and small-town charm with a modern twist make a unique backdrop for your special day. Arched doorways with wide windows allow for natural light to shine through, and the exposed brick wall adds to the rustic charm. Wedding ceremonies are impressive when performed in our stately, impeccably restored 1926 auditorium. The theatrical lighting and excellent acoustic qualities in the auditorium, combined with two backstage dressing rooms and other amenities, place the spotlight right where it should be – on the bride and groom. Enjoy cocktails and a delectable dinner in the Lobby Gallery - with its exposed antique brick, atrium-like openness and overhead Terraces, it is the perfect space for mingling and dancing with your family and friends. Dance the night away as lights twinkle above you and guests “ooh” and “ahh” at the elegance exuding from the night. The rental fee ranges from $2,000 to $2,875 for a reception and includes 10 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony and reception starts at $3,100. The price for a ceremony-only wedding with no reception is $1,250. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee. Please inquire for exact pricing and details.
