Sherman Gardens is a 2.2 acre botanical wonderland, surrounded by early California architecture, nestled in the heart of Corona del Mar, California. Wide brick walkways wind throughout the grounds with bubbling tile fountains and flower beds abundant with seasonal color. The tropical conservatory, housing bromeliads, orchids, ferns and a koi pond is a beautiful backdrop for photos. Walk down the aisle in the enchanting Tea Garden with hanging baskets radiating seasonal color, or tie the knot underneath a stately 81-year old California pepper tree. The Pepper Tree Patio, shaded by a large and delicate-leafed pepper tree, is an enchanting spot for serving beverages and appetizers after the ceremony. The pepper tree is adorned with market lights throughout its branches. After dark, it’s one of many magical spots in Sherman Gardens. For indoor receptions, Sherman Gardens offers the Central Patio Room, a vintage space reminiscent of early California architecture, with a cathedral ceiling, gray wood beams, and skylights. A large brick fireplace and terracotta tiled floors create a warm and cozy atmosphere. On a warm evening, the French doors that line the perimeter of the room can be opened, allowing the party to overflow onto the covered terrace, adjacent to the Central Garden.
