Our charming, 267-acre Alameda County Fairgrounds, features gorgeous landscaping, spacious wedding sites, and a catering team that promises to put together the wedding of your dreams. Our vast lawns and Wine Garden can accommodate any ceremony size. The Wine Garden, a bridal favorite, is set in a peaceful courtyard surrounded by towering trees, providing an oasis of your very own to exchange vows and rings. Here, you are able to be married in the shade with the smell of nature filling the air. Our reception options are equally limitless, accommodating anywhere from 50-1,000 guests in our various buildings, grandstands, and our event halls, such as the Palm Pavilion and Building Q. The Palm Pavilion can accommodate up to 225 guests with a built in dance floor and is a highlighted with natural light shining into the indoor reception area. The Pavilion area is large enough for all your guests to enjoy food prepared by our highly acclaimed and budget friendly on-site catering and then enjoy dancing out on the dance floor. One Building Q, is another bridal favorite and is known for it's glass roll up doors, walls of windows, towering ceiling, and neutral color palette allowing a bride's imagination to take flight. Building Q can accommodate up to 400 guests seated and it's roll up doors can lead directly to the Wine Garden or our Professional Garden for your guests to linger in the evening air as they take in the setting. Guests are also able to visit award-winning local wineries, a historic downtown, and an extensive parks and recreations facility all within minutes of this lovely wedding destination.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1200 to $2,000 for a reception and includes between 6-9 hours of event time, excluding set up and clean up time. A 50% refundable security deposit is required.
