This space is elegant and romantic and will make for beautiful wedding photos. The Wildlife Interpretive Gallery, the oldest building in the Zoo, is another lovely option for your celebration. The 1928 glass-domed bird house has been renovated to fit in the most outstanding feature of the Gallery, the lush, tropical Butterfly Garden—an unforgettable place for your ceremony. The Nunavut Gallery and Exploration Station provide breathtaking underwater views of polar bears and seals. You can have your dinner or cocktail reception winding through a 300,000-gallon chilled marine environment. Regardless of which space you choose for your celebration, the Detroit Zoo is a romantic, welcoming space for your unforgettable wedding celebration.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $1,000. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr.
