The Masonic Temple

Located in the historic Cass Corridor, the Masonic Temple is an irresistible wedding venue that exudes grandeur and antiquity. There is no shortage of space, as the maze-like Temple features multiple theaters, ballrooms and banquet halls. Constructed in 1920, it is the most expansive building of its kind in the world. As you stand mesmerized in the temple’s grand entrance, gaze up at candlelit chandeliers and admire gold-encrusted doorways. Walk through Gothic arches and across an ornate, black-and-white tiled floor. Ascend the spiraling dark wood staircase and into a fantastical world. The Masonic Temple is an architectural wonder, because it synthesizes Egyptian, Italian Renaissance, Byzantine and Romanesque styles. You are certainly not required to decorate the elaborate interior. Hold your ceremony in the romantically lit chapel, underneath a vaulted ceiling and an illuminated cross. Your guests will never forget watching your traditional ceremony from their rows of theatre seating. Afterwards, cast a spell on your spouse in one of the Temple’s breathtakingly elegant ballrooms. If you are enthralled by exoticism and mystery, the Masonic Temple is the ideal locale for your wedding. The Temple will astonish your guests, and leave you with an experience that is both timeless and otherworldly.
