Mackinac Island is a unique treasure of Northern Michigan. A wedding at Mission Point Resort offers Mackinac's finest with magical views of Lake Huron alongside the charming nature of the island. Mackinac Island can only be reached by ferry and does not permit the use of vehicles. Your romantic island getaway will begin with a lush outdoor ceremony. A white gazebo, the front lawn, and Tranquility Point are all wonderful outdoor locations that can transform for an elegant wedding ceremony. Mission Point Resort has a wide variety of rooms to choose from when planning your reception. The Colonial Room with fireplace and private patio, the Courtside Patio, and the Promenade Deck are all great for smaller wedding receptions. These spaces infuse the natural beauty of the Resort's surroundings into your special day. For larger receptions, the Cypress Room, features large wooden beams and overlooks Lake Huron and the Gazebo. It has an outdoor terrace perfect for a cocktail hour or for your guests to enjoy some fresh air. The Summit Room has an amazing 180-degree view of Lake Huron. The Sound Stage is another large space that is extremely flexible, perfect to transform with additional decor. Dance and dine in the height of luxury at Mission Point Resort.

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by midnight, if outdoor events by 10:00PM.

Rental Fees

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 7 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rental fee for a ceremony only wedding ranges from $1,250 to $1,500 and includes an extra hour of event time. Venue is only available May to October.

The average wedding cost at Mission Point Resort is estimated at between $12,156 and $15,777 for a ceremony & reception for 100 guests.
