The Gainesville Civic Center is conveniently located in downtown Gainesville just 50 miles north of Atlanta in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia Mountains. The Grand Ballroom evokes an elegant charm ideal for receptions and a variety of smaller meeting rooms are perfect for bridal rooms, gift rooms or extra space for mingling. The Grand Ballroom features sprawling hardwood floors, a fireplace, large windows and a grand entrance. The beautiful brick exterior of this building creates an elegant and traditional atmosphere from start to finish. The porch area is perfect for a cocktail hour or extra mingling space with your family and friends. The simple and neutral tones of this venue allow you to create the exact wedding atmosphere you’ve envisioned. The rental fee ranges from $50 to $900 for a reception and includes 8 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony ranges from $0 to $275 with reception rental or $50 to $900 for a ceremony-only wedding. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. The front porch may only be rented with the Ballroom. For use of smaller rooms, the clients must rent a room for both the reception and ceremony as they would not be able to host both in one room.Amenities And Requirements

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- Music end time is 10:00PM outdoors- Music must end by 11:30PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Only preferred caterers may use kitchen
