Overview

The University of Michigan and our offices are closed for the winter break and holidays. We will reopen on January 3rd- please expect a response shortly after that! Nestled in the heart of University of Michigan’s Central Campus, the Michigan Union offers the ideal wedding venue for a U of M alum or local! This facility offers a multitude of different spaces that are sure to suit any occasion, from a casually elegant affair to a shamelessly formal event. For an intimate cocktail hour or relaxing reception, consider booking the Pond Room, where you can dine surrounded by arched doorways, modern pendent lighting, warm wood finishes, and floral plush carpeting. Those searching for a more majestic space can look to The Rogel Ballroom, a spacious banquet space that boasts shining hardwood floors, pendant lighting, ornate chandeliers, and ceilings that soar to the heavens. Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $900 to $2,700 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Please inquire with the event coordinator for availability in the ballroom for a ceremony. There is a food and beverage minimum applied for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday events. Please inquire with the event coordinator for additional hours.
