Old Stone Church Overview
Preparing you for a day of joy...and a lifetime of love! Old Stone Church welcomes all couples to celebrate their marriage in our historic Sanctuary. Weddings here are occasions of both joy and reverence—joy because of the love and happiness that the couple have found in each other, and reverence because of the commitment they have made to live out their vows under the grace of God. The staff of Old Stone is eager to help make your wedding a lovely and meaningful event. Old Stone Church not only helps couples prepare for their wedding ceremonies, but also assists couples in preparing for their marriage. The success of a marriage is not exclusively the charge of the newlyweds, but rather a continuous effort of the couple to actively invite God into their relationship with the support of the community. Each couple that chooses to get married at Old Stone Church is required to participate in the Marriage Preparation Program and meet with the minister that will officiate their ceremony. Led by the pastoral staff and professional Marriage Educators, our Marriage Preparation Seminars are held three times throughout the year and offer couples the opportunity to strengthen the foundation of their marriage and enhance relationship skills through discussion and practice in the areas of communication, personal stress, conflict resolution, financial management, intimacy, relationship roles, spiritual beliefs, and marriage expectations. Couples planning to be married in other venues are welcome to attend the Old Stone Church Marriage Preparation Seminar for a fee of $200.00. The rental fee ranges from $2,000 to $2,500 for a ceremony up to 600 guests, and includes 2 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. A non-refundable security deposit of $800 is required. Please note, the marriage fee includes: Building facilities use for rehearsal and wedding, the professional fees of the officiating minister, organist, soloist, wedding assistant, videographer, Blu-ray of your ceremony, marriage preparation seminar, programs for your ceremony, personalized unity candle, two seven-branch candelabras and candles.Amenities And Requirements
