Situated amid a grove of towering conifers on the University of Puget Sound’s campus, Kilworth Chapel provides a perfectly elegant venue for any wedding ceremony. Though it was erected in the 1960’s, this stately building was modeled after a traditional New England Meeting House, invoking the importance of the divine and the moral responsibilities of self-government. As your guests make their way to chapel, they can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding chapel grounds, which boast expansive green lawns and flourishing flowers. The lovely grounds create an ideal atmosphere for snapping unforgettable wedding pictures for your album! The main church makes an astounding impression with its simple, yet commanding presence. The sky high ceilings and towering windows have little adornment, but create a sense of verticality that is basically epic. The space’s unique blend of cream and gold tones creates an inviting, yet grand atmosphere that is perfectly complemented by the modest chandeliers and majestic organ at the head of the room. For a unique touch, ring in the beginning of your marriage with the chapel’s 300-year-old church bell, placing your union into a long history of harmony and happiness!
