Tuckahoe Plantation is a National Historic Landmark and an idyllic outdoor venue for your special day! Voted one of Virginia's top garden venues, Tuckahoe's gardens embrace traditional elegance with rustic whimsy that guests can enjoy throughout the wedding. The grounds can accommodate parties up to 500 guests. Rental of the grounds includes our ceremony site, 3 reception sites, parking, provision of electricity and running water, restroom facilities (up to 100 guests), 1-3 Tuckahoe staff members, basic ground lighting, exclusive use of the property, use of the Old Stable/Groom's Den, the historic Bridal Suite, directional signs, and 8 wrought iron staked lanterns. Additional services available. Fees vary depending on the time of year, number of guests, and length of event. The 18th-century plantation house and renovated Old Stable offer warm southern hospitality to parties under 50-60 guests. This venue gives you the ability to customize every detail exactly to your wishes and tastes, which means there are no cookie-cutter celebrations at Tuckahoe!
Tuckahoe Plantation is also a great option for engagement parties and portraits, wedding showers, wedding portraits, and rehearsal dinners!

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by 2:00AM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,500 to $7,000 for a ceremony and reception dependent on time of year, day of the week and number of guests. This includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a reception-only wedding ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 and a ceremony-only wedding ranges from $2,000 to $3.000. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,000/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
