Built in 1733 and home of the adolescent Thomas Jefferson, the 2-story colonial plantation house thrives in historical grandeur amid its flourishing gardens and extensive grounds. A priceless horticultural masterpiece, the verdant outdoor sanctuary crafts a magical ceremony location as bride and groom walk down a tree-hemmed aisle to exchange vows under a quaint wooden arch. After smiling for pictures in front of the 300-year-old gardens, guests may adjourn to one of three reception venues, including a large tented pavilion for up to 500 guests. Wedding-white drapery and refined centerpieces convert each reception space into sophisticated, world-class event. Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by 2:00AM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,500 to $7,000 for a ceremony and reception dependent on time of year, day of the week and number of guests. This includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a reception-only wedding ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 and a ceremony-only wedding ranges from $2,000 to $3.000. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. $350 BYO fee is waived if using a licensed caterer.
