San Mateo Event Center Overview

The San Mateo Event Center is the only venue serving all of the major population centers in the Bay Area via freeways. If you are thinking of hosting an elaborate wedding, you will appreciate the in-house event production services that can help you when you require innovative thinkers, flexible approaches and professionals that anticipate your needs. Expo Hall is a 105,000 square foot exhibit hall that can be used for an impressivel gala reception. The Hall has two rows of columns every 30 feet. Imagine hanging colorful balloons or flowing fabric from these columns. Logistically thinking, load in is easy with four ground level roll up doors. The possibilities are truly endless in this grand space. For an especially large wedding reception, consider the Expo Hall to host your guests. Redwood Hall and Sequoia Hall are smaller and equally versatile venues, so you may use your creativity in decorating the space. The rooms are still very large and can accommodate a large wedding crowds. No matter the size and style of your dream wedding, San Mateo Event Center is ready to accommodate your unique needs.

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $8,375 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. An outside caterer is allowed for an additional fee. The venue is available for prior day set up for an additional $4,000 fee.
