The Waikiki Aquarium offers an exceptional location for those seeking to hold a unique and memorable event. Whether you’re celebrating a rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, wedding reception or renewal of vows, the Aquarium is the perfect setting for any occasion. Our location and facilities provide one of the best open-air settings on Oahu with space to tailor your set-up for your event’s needs.

Event rental fee includes access to the Aquarium Galleries which showcase stunning marine communities of the tropical Pacific and Hawaii, “Edge of the Reef,” a 7,500 gallon outdoor exhibit that recreates a living Hawaiian shoreline, and the Hawaiian Monk seal habitat where you may view and learn about one of the world’s most endangered marine mammals. The manicured Aquarium lawn will welcome your guests with calm sea breezes and magnificent views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean as well as one of the best views of our Hawaiian sunsets (weather permitting).

Reservations may be made as early as one year prior to your function date. All reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Waikiki Aquarium receives 100% of the proceeds from facility rentals. Revenues generated support the aquarium’s animals, exhibits, research and conservation efforts.

Time Restrictions

Set up can start at 5:15PM. Events must be cleand up by 10:30PM.

Rental Fees

The base rental fee is $2,000 for ceremony and/or reception. This fee includes the use of the venue between 5:15 pm-10:30 pm (including set up and breakdown), admission for 100 guests, the use of 18 tables and 100 chairs.
For events larger than 100, additional charges will apply.
