Eden Try is a stunning 12 acre estate and private winery in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, located mid-way between Washington, DC, and Richmond, Virginia. Eden Try was established by a horticulturalist owner and is still family-owned. The name Eden Try originates from the owner’s attempt to recreate the Garden of Eden in Virginia. You can still see vestiges of these original efforts throughout the one hundred private acres, which feature manicured lawns, grape vines, terraced rose gardens, and ancient tree lines. Wedding ceremonies can take place in front of the formal front entry and gardens, with an impressive vineyard grape vine backdrop, or in the rear bluestone terrace with signature tiered rose gardens, or finally, in the natural amphitheater and wedding pergola toward the rear of the property. During the cocktail hour, guests may take pleasure in the ancient trees and mature landscaping, manicured lawns, old stone walking paths, fountains, and gardens. Eden Try’s upscale Vineyard Barn features soaring ceilings, cathedral-grade beams, natural wood floors, chandeliers, and cantina lighting. Sliding barn doors bring the beauty of the outdoors and the estate grounds in. The Vineyard Barn is the perfect place to celebrate as newlyweds, and to dance the night away.

Time Restrictions

Set up time can start at noon. Events must end by 10:00PM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $3,850 to $6,200 for a reception and includes 9 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $750. Additional hours can be arranged. Please inquire with venue coordinator for details. A refundable security deposit of $1,500 is required. Wine must be purchased through venue with a 1 case minimum requirement starting at $192 per case.
