Built in the early 20’s, the Steamship Virginia V is a lovely cedar-fir ship that boasts a 100 year-old steam engine that is still running strong. A fixture of Seattle’s charter vessel scene since the 1940’s, the Virginia V now provides an exceptional maritime location for unique weddings. You and your guests can board the beautiful ship in Seattle’s Lake Union Park before sailing off into the Puget Sound or Lake Washington. Imagine exchanging vows on the ship’s elegant deck with the captain as the officiant. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding waters from the elegant passenger salon or watch the motion of the complex engine from the Engine Deck. No matter where you turn, you and your guests can enjoy the timeless magic of the moment aboard the Virginia V. When it comes time to celebrate your union, head into the lovely Main Cabin for a delectable meal surrounded by large windows and a bright white interior that adds a touch of cheer to the space. Enjoy the quiet pumping of the engine and the long blast of the steam whistle as you sail away not only into the water, but into your new married life!
