The Steamship Virginia V Overview
At 100 years old, Virginia V is a classic wooden steamship - still propelled by its original steam engine! This gorgeous vessel provides an exceptional maritime location for unique weddings. You and your guests can board the beautiful ship in Seattle’s Lake Union Park before departing for a relaxing cruise on Lake Union and Lake Washington. Imagine exchanging vows on the ship’s elegant deck. Between our cozy passenger compartment and our spacious outdoor decks, the ship provides a variety of spaces for you and your guests to relax and celebrate your special day and as a backdrop for your wedding photos. No matter where you turn, you and your guests can enjoy the timeless magic of the moment aboard Virginia V. One of our captains is a wedding officiant or you can bring your own. Prices vary depending on whether the event is underway or dockside and the length and complexity of the wedding. Charter fee for an underway wedding with a three hour cruise for 2023 is $5900 (not including catering, officiant fees, entertainment, etc.) Discounts are available.
