La Casita Recreation Center - Dobson Ranch




The largest of Dobson Ranch’s recreation centers, La Casita is an ideal space for a wedding. Enjoy the Arizona sunshine during an outdoor, poolside ceremony where guests will enjoy watching you say your vows with the azure backdrop of the water. La Casita’s Grande Room holds up to 115 people for a lavish reception and, for a more intimate affair, the Chica Room holds up to 50 people. Both rooms feature boundless overhead lighting, wood paneled walls and polished hardwood floors. This is the ideal venue for weddings that are family oriented and will have many children as guests as the property boasts a playground, interactive water feature and tennis court. While the adults mingle during cocktail hour and toasts the children will have a blast taking advantage of all the interactive play equipment. The large catering kitchen on site allows your caterer to whip up decadent dining options for your guests.

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by 11:00PM and 9:00PM on Sunday.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,300 to $2,600 for a reception and includes 10 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony ranges from $200 to $250. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. A refundable security deposit of $100 to $300 is required. For hourly and residential rates please inquire with venue.
